Measuring for a Roller, Double Roller and Vision Blind

Welcome to our simple guide to measuring your windows for new Roller Blinds, Double Roller Blinds or Vision Blinds.

Before you get started, you’ll need a tape measure (preferably metal), pen and paper. Please note that all measurements should be taken in millimetres (mm).

Recess Fit: Blind is fitted inside the window reveal.
Face Fit: Blind is fitted outside the window reveal.

Measuring for a Recess Fit

1) Measuring the width and drop

Measure the top width and drop in millimetres without making any deductions. Our factory will deduct 2mm on the total width to allow the smoothest possible operation.

Check that your recess is deep enough to fit the blind into and take note of any obstructions (e.g., window handles) and take their position into account to ensure a perfect fit. If you have tiles at bottom of your reveal that are bigger than 15mm please contact us.
