Measuring a Recess Fit for Multiple Window

When measuring for a multi-panel window or sliding door you need to give us the individual measurement for each blind you want fitted on the windows/sliding door. Please note we DON'T recommend getting your total window/door width and dividing it into 2 or 3 as you should measure each panel individually and try to get the centre point of the mullion/frame so that the fabrics sits over the frame.

Width 1 - For the left hand blind, measure from the outside edge of the left to the centre of the panel mullion.
Width 2 - For the middle blind, measure from the centre point of the left mullion to the centre point of the right mullion.
Width 3 - For the right hand blind, measure from the outside edge of the right to the centre of the panel mullion.

Please be aware that 2 Roller Blinds side by side will have approximately 30mm gap between fabrics.

Measure the drop of each panel in 3 places and take your smallest measurement.

Measuring a Face Fit for Multiple Window

When measuring for a multi-panel window or sliding door you need to give us the individual measurement for each blind you want fitted on the windows/sliding door. Find the centre point of your mullions and make a mark. You measure from where you would like your blind to sit above the window we recommend 50-100 mm above and on either side of the window opening. Measure to the centre point marked on the mullion. Then from the centre point marked to the next mullion and so forth depending on how many panels you have.

Please note we DON'T recommend getting your total window/door width and dividing it into 2 or 3 as you should measure each panel individually and try to get the centre point of the mullion/frame so that the fabrics sits over the frame.

Handy Hints
  • All of our blinds are made to measure. Please follow the instructions carefully. Make sure you take your measurements using a STEEL rule or tape.
  • Take all your measurements in millimetres (mm).
  • When measuring, always look out for things like window handles or tiles and take their position into account if necessary, to ensure a perfect fit.
  • When taking measurements please follow this helpful rule - "measure once, measure twice and measure again to be sure!".
  • All of our blinds can be fitted into the face of the window frame or wall, or into the top of the lintel. This gives you complete control over the positioning of your blind.
