Made-to-measure blinds are our specialty here at Half Price Blinds. As a business that operates entirely online and provides blinds made to order, this means we can pass the factory-direct savings on to you! If you’re thinking about buying new blinds, follow these simple steps to ensure you get the right measurements for your windows.
How to measure
I'd recommend taking your measurements using a steel ruler or tape and recording in millimetres (mm), to ensure the result is as accurate as possible. When measuring, always look out for things like window handles or tiles and take their position into account if necessary, to ensure a perfect fit.
What to measure
Grab a piece of paper and use the metal measuring tape to measure the height and width of your window frames. Whether you’re measuring to fit your blinds within the window recess or outside it, we have all the info you need to get the correct measurements. Visit our ‘Measuring’ page to learn more about how to measure inside mount blinds and how to measure for blinds outside the mount.
Measure multiple times
After you’ve measured once, be sure to measure at least two more times, to be absolutely sure you’ve got the measurements correct. The last thing you want to do is place an order with the wrong measurements and end up with blinds that don’t fit!
The next steps
Got all your measurements? The only thing that’s left to do now is enter them online! Simply head to the page of the product you’re interested in, select the fabric and colour you like, then follow the prompts. Once the measurements have been entered, you’ll receive an accurate quote to help you make your decision.
